We needed cheering up amid the quarantine and self-isolation, so we spent the day scrolling through our Instagram feed. We decided to choose our Top Ten Instagram Photos – I mean these change daily, but these were some that brought us joy. I hope they do the same for you. Check them out!
Markus in Austria
On an abandoned lake in South Tyrol, Markus took his 10’8 Carbon out on its maiden voyage. We can’t get over the amazing colours in this picture.
“Never would I have expected such crystal clear & blue water. It was a perfect match with the yellow forest. It’s only been 2 weeks but already everything is now covered in deep white snow. Crazy how fast the seasons are changing here.”
Crossing the finish line
This video is so full of emotion, it is one of our absolute favourites. This was captured when Jo (@healthyhappy50) finished her 162-mile paddle on the Leeds-Liverpool canal.

SUPs and Sharks?!
A throwback to Summer, Laura took some time to experience the reef shark pods in the Bahamas. If you wanted to know if our SUPs are shark-proof, well, here’s your answer…
Calm before the storm
Tony, @worldwarflab, is one of the most inspiring paddlers we have come across. He made a vow to get on track with his fitness and has exercised EVERY day for over a year! Tony has incorporated paddleboarding into that regime and is absolutely smashing it. He is 140lb down and we can’t wait to follow him along the rest of his journey!
Daring Paddle
Cara (@supgirl.uk) took her SUP out on the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. The Aqueduct carries the canal over the River Dee in NE Wales. We would recommend sticking to your knees for this one guys!

It’s raining cats and dogs?!
If you look closely at this SUP snap you will, in fact, see a cat in the driver’s seat. Yes, a cat! Amber (@ambpitch) takes her dog and her cat paddling. This and those sunset skies meant that this picture had to make it into our top ten.
SUP Love
We loved this snap from @advanture_wives at Christmas time. These guys travel the world in their campervan and take their SUP with them. Feeling the love!
Birds eye view
We just LOVE this picture taken by @jasondelaterreta. The water is deliciously turquoise, it’s been taken by drone AND there’s TWO Bluefin SUPs. Jackpot. Also, it answers the question: “Can I paddle your 15’ Tandem solo?” Exhibit A! ⬇️
SUP in the jungle
Meesh and her partner ventured to the largest convergence of freshwater springs on the planet. We could not get over the picture when we were tagged. That green really makes the SUP pop 😉
