SUP Community

Welcome to the Bluefin SUP Community Page! This page is for you; customers old and new, Bluefin SUP fans or people just wanted to see how awesome our SUP boards are. We want this page to be a place for paddlers to connect, offer SUP tips and find out about our latest Bluefin HQ news.

SUP SPOTLIGHT

Highlighting even more benefits that paddleboarding can offer, Marc and Nic (@atingslife) are keeping it real by leaving their child on the shore (with her Grandad we must add) and enjoying their 11 year anniversary together by popping some champagne on their Bluefin SUP!

As Marc puts it ‘Having children is amazing but very tiring and getting some time away can be tricky.’  So parents take note, having a date night and some quality time with your partner, even if it is in the middle of Ullswater lake, is a great way to take a little time for yourself and your partner! Cheers to you both and who knew our Bluefin paddles were so good as selfie sticks??

Here’s to all the parents who could do with a few minutes break sometimes and a glass of champers in the middle of a lake! 🥂

You can join in on our Bluefin Owners Group too. Here.

For Mental Health Awareness Week this year, we've teamed up with @andysmanclubuk to help raise awareness of the impact of loneliness on our mental health. Mental Health Awareness Week is an annual event to highlight the importance of having good mental health. It was founded by the @MentalHealthFoundation 21 years ago, with each annual event focusing on a different theme to try to open up discussion around topics that affect everyone, from all walks of life. We’re long-time supporters of Andy’s Man Club, which was founded in 2016 by Luke Ambler and his family after the tragic loss of his brother-in-law Andy, who they lost without warning to suicide at just 23 years old. It’s sadly not uncommon, as stats show that one man takes his own life every two hours in the UK. One of the contributing factors is thought to be that men don’t talk enough about their problems or how they’re feeling. That’s why Luke and Andy’s mother Elaine set about creating talking groups for everyone but especially men, who may be going through a difficult time and want to talk, or even just listen to others in a safe, non-judgemental environment. We’re supporting Mental Health Awareness Week by donating a percentage of sales made May 9th-15th to Andy’s Man Club Head to the link in our bio to find out more about @andysmanclubuk and the amazing, life saving work they do ☝ #ITSOKAYTOTALK #AndysManClub #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek #IveBeenThere #ItsOkayNotToBeOkay
